Help and frequently asked questions
Quick answers for using DCGrafix Online Karaoke safely and getting the best experience on phones, computers, and supported displays.
How do I start a song?
Choose Karaoke or Music, type a song title or artist, press Search, then select a playable result. The selected video opens in the official YouTube player. Press Play if your browser blocks automatic playback.
How do reservations work?
After searching, press Reserve beside a result. Up to five upcoming songs are shown in the queue. You can move songs up or down, remove them, or press Sing now for the next reserved song.
Why does a video say unavailable?
A creator or YouTube may restrict embedding, regions, age groups, or availability. DCGrafix cannot override those controls. Return to the results and choose another playable version.
Why is my score zero?
The microphone must be enabled before or during the performance. A zero score is expected when microphone permission is off. Check the browser permission icon and make sure the microphone level meter moves when you sing.
How can I improve microphone scoring?
Use earphones so the microphone mainly hears your voice. Keep the phone or microphone at a steady distance, reduce speaker echo, sing consistently, and avoid covering the microphone opening.
Is the score official?
No. It is an independent DCGrafix entertainment score based on voice activity, pitch stability, timing, and held-note patterns. It is not supplied or endorsed by YouTube and is not a professional assessment.
Can I install the app?
Use the Install App button when your browser offers it. On some iPhones and iPads, open the browser Share menu and choose Add to Home Screen. Installation availability depends on the device and browser.
Does DCGrafix store my voice?
No. Microphone audio is analyzed locally in the browser and is not recorded or uploaded by DCGrafix. You can remove saved DCGrafix history and queue data from the Privacy Policy page.
Why do I see YouTube advertisements?
YouTube controls advertisements and playback inside its official player. DCGrafix does not remove, hide, or bypass YouTube advertising. Separate future site advertisements will be clearly labeled and kept away from karaoke controls.
Does DCGrafix host the videos?
No. Videos, audio, titles, thumbnails, channels, and related metadata are supplied by YouTube. DCGrafix provides the karaoke interface and independent entertainment tools.
